The Association of Health Maintenance Organization of the Philippines, Inc. (AHMOPI), the first recognized trade association of Health Maintenance Organization (HMOs) in the country, staged its 2024 Annual Convention with the theme: “Bringing Quality to the World of HMOs.”

MEJIASTRAT shared their expertise and talked about “The Synergy of the Rigor of Data Analytics with Human Centered Design – Thinking for Innovation.” We provided paradigms as to how we can apply the tools and techniques of retrospective analysis with the future thinking approach of Innovation. We then applied this to the core elements and functions within the realm of the Health Management Industry.

With HMOs committed to upholding value, integrity, and credibility, AHMOPI continues to adhere to sound business ethics to achieve higher performance standards and operational efficiencies. The organization remains steadfast in promoting managed care to its various publics, and partnering with institutional healthcare providers and medical specialists. Through these collaborations, AHMOPI aims to deliver the best healthcare programs and services at an affordable cost—to achieve excellence in health delivery systems and support plan holders to live happy, healthy lives.

This journey demonstrates how the principles of Quality had already evolved from its traditional application in manufacturing and product fulfillment to now creating meaningful impact across diverse industries, including healthcare.

AHMOPI was organized and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 13, 1987. It has since worked to protect the interest of the HMO industry and its members.
